 MBA IN HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT

MBA in Hospital Management is a 2 year full time course. The minimum required eligibility for this course is graduation with a minimum total marks of 50 percent in any specialisation such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, MBBS, BPT, B.Pharm, BE, B.Tech etc.

MBA Hospital Management admission takes place through MBA Entrance Exam like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP etc. This program is available in distance format from colleges like IGNOU and the average fees is around INR 13,000 to 60,000.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The following are the minimum criteria of eligibility needing to be fulfilled by students i.e.
  • Graduation in any stream with at least 50 percent marks in total
  • Students must have the graduation degree from a recognised university
  • Graduation in any stream with at least 50 percent marks in total for SC/ ST or other backward classes
  • Qualifying any of CAT, XAT, MAT, or GMAT
ADMISSION PROCESS

Students interested in pursuing the course need to have completed graduation in any discipline. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission may differ according to the institute offering the course and must be fulfilled.

Students are needed to qualify any of the relevant national level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT and XAT. Students may also choose to apply for any appear in any of the university level entrance exams conducted at the level of the university

Once the student is done registering or appearing for entrance exams, names of the selected student comes out on the basis of either merit or marks obtained in the entrances. Selected students then need to go through the rounds like Counselling, Personal Interview. 

The average tuition fees charged for this course in India ranges between INR 1 to 7.5 lakhs. Successful postgraduates of the course in the country are offered an average annual salary ranging between INR 2,35,000 and 5.50,000 from their MBA jobs.
