Bachelor of Business Administration or BBA is one of the most popular undergraduate programmes. A student who has passed class 12th by option any stream can pursue BBA.

A student can choose anyone of the three courses:
BBA (General)
BBA (Banking and Insurance)
BBA (Computer Aided Management or CAM)

BBA is a 3 year degree course. It is an undergraduate course that helps to develop entrepreneurial skills of the students. BBA combines business related courses and common courses.
Some BBA courses allow specilisation in marketing, finance, and HR management. BBA develop entrepreneurship. The undergraduate course in business management is open for all three stream i.e. Commerce, Arts and Science students.

The entire BBA syllabus is divided into six semesters, means two semesters each year it to completed by the candidates.


WHAT AFTER BBA

 After completing BBA, students can join sectors like Sales, Finance, Marketing, Education and Govt jobs.
Most of the candidates opt for MBA after completion of their BBA. Master in Business Administration is a post graduation course. It helps students in getting respectable management positions in various private sectors. The time duration of MBA is 2 years. For securing seat for themselves, students need to clear exams like XAT, CAT etc. Student can pursue MBA in various courses like marketing, international business, finance, HR which they can choose as per their interest.

PACKAGES FOR BBA CANDIDATES

Generally BBA students are offered a package of minimum three lakh per annum. The package varies from institutes to institutes.

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates who are applying for admission for Bachelor of Business Administration will have to meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. The eligibility criteria for BBA program is mentioned below:
  • Minimum marks required: 50 - 60 percent in 10+2, varies from college to college.
  • Age limit: The age limit for general category is 22 years and for reserved category is 24 years.
